Course Accreditation and AccreditationPlus

For course providers
The Academy of Medical Educators is pleased to offer a course accreditation scheme for courses aimed at training those who are involved in the education and training of practitioners and students of medicine, including physician associates, dentistry and veterinary surgery.
Accreditation of your course provides an independent validation of its quality judged against the Academy’s Professional Standards. There are two levels of accreditation - Accreditation and AccreditationPlus.  The higher level is awarded to courses where candidates typically complete a course over at least a year and are on a path to become career educators. See the  guidance documents: Accreditation Standards   ; Accreditation Guidance for Courses
An accredited course can state that it is "Accredited by the Academy of Medical Educators" and use the Academy’s logo on course materials (subject to prior sight by the Academy).
If you are a course provider and interested in having a course accredited by AoME please download the application form here .
You will find here a list of our current accredited courses.
