Resources and Opportunities

The Academy is pleased to help promote resources and opportunities provided by organisations and institutions whose aims and and values align with our own and which can benefit our members. For example, academic meetings and events, job opportunities and CPD. If you would like to promote an activity, resource or opportunity for medical educators on our site, please contact us at info@medicaleducators.org .*
Education in the time of Covid-19 Webinar

The Academy along with Swansea University Medical School, recently  produced a Webinar entitled Education in the time of COVID-19. You can access an edited video of the session below. The session covered: maintaining the standards of educational activities when methods of delivery have to change; the role of Professional Standards in maintaining educational quality; sharing experience of having to change modes of delivery; applying webinar content to your institution/course/module requirements.

We intend to produce a second webinar in this series focused on teaching in the clinical environment during the pandemic. We are aware this is something many AoME Members and Fellows  are struggling with.
Would you like to share your newly-acquired knowledge and skills in this area? Would you like to contribute to the development and delivery of this webinar? Your input would be very welcome.

Please contact the Academy office at info@medicaleducators.org if you would like to share your knowledge or experiences.
