The Academy of Medical Educators is the new professional organisation for all involved in the education and training of medical students and doctors. If you want to be part of this exciting initiative, then apply for Foundation Membership.

Foundation Members will shape the future direction of the Academy of Medical Educators. Only Foundation Members will be able to vote in the initial elections, stand for office and set the agenda for the inaugural Council meeting.

As a Foundation Member you will be able to apply for full Membership/Fellowship once Council agrees the criteria.

You will also be able to draw upon the resources and expertise of the Academy to help you develop your skills as a medical educator. The Academy is developing a Curriculum for Medical Educators and a Continuous Professional Development Framework. These will be of use when preparing for appraisals, re-licensing and certification/re-certification.
