Assessment for Healthcare Educators

Assessment for Healthcare Educators is a one-day event delivered by Cardiff University Centre for Medical Education and the Academy of Medical Educators, aimed at all those interested in monitoring, feeding back and deciding on students' and trainees' educational and personal progress. It talkes place on Tuesday, 11 July 2017 at Aberdare Hall, Corbett Road, Cardiff CF10 3UP
We welcome everyone who is involved in healthcare education to participate, whatever your level of experience. It will be of particular use to you if you are interested in sharing the latest theory and practice around:                                             - setting standards
- organising tests
- interpreting assessment results
- blueprinting assessments
- developing programmes of assessment
Keynote speakers include:
- Professor Richard Fuller, Director of Medical Education Programmes, University of Leeds
- Professor John Cookson, Emeritus Professor at Hull York Medical School and former Foundation Professor of Medical Education and Undergraduate Dean
Delegates will also be able to choose from a range of interactive workshops facilitated by experienced practitioners on a range of useful topics and to view posters and exhibitors' stands.
Application has been made for event approval by RCP for 6 Category 1 CPD points.
